DJ Rocky Racoon

"Im a man of few words, I speak with my hands so they say".... my full name is Salvador Garcia a.k.a DJ Rocky Racoon. Many people ask what kind of a name is Rocky Racoon i tell them "its the kind of name that only few people can call me by". I grew up in Los Angeles, moved around quite a bit, I been a B Boy all my life off and on and also a B-Ball Player. After graduating from high school i decided to get into music and tried different avenues like Guitar, Piano, Bass etc...but music theory wasnt really my thang. It wasnt till i got my first Beat Making sequencer (fruity loops! lol) and turntables i knew at that point that this is what i was going to be doing for the rest of my life. I felt blessed many people go through life searching for that one thing that so passionate about and never find it and get stuck with a normal job! I put my work in with upcomming cats but shit would never click right but were learning experiences for me in the long run. I got the opportunity to work with Mellow Man Ace late 2007 stayed persistent, loyal, and got appointed as his DJ in 2008. We went on a couple of tours country to country, state to state, and city to city. Late last year in 2008 Mellow Man Ace got signed to a new record label (Royal Bloodline Records) away from his previous label Latin Thug Records and asked me to Produce the whole album. So ever since we been buildin, recording new material and staying busy in the lab to come strong with this new album. Stay tuned
