About Me

Grew up in Kobe Japan until 18 and lived Kyoto for about 7 years where my band carrier started. I was in various different bands but never really played seriously, and I met my friend Hajime at the bar, Pig and whistle, we started playing together and this band, 74buddies, went OK in Kyoto and Shiga, but I had to leave the country, so I quit that band. Now, I play guitar in the band called Fujiko-Chan. www.myspace.com/gofujikochan I also play Shamisen(Traditional Japanese three string instrument) in the SF Bay area based Shamisen group called "Fujimoto Hideki Kai". Fujiko-Chan is playing once or twice a month in the SF Bayarea and Fujimoto Hideki Kai plays aslo in SF Bay area. We have annual concert at JCCCNC in August. We also play at cherry blossom festival. ????????
