Are you tired of sitting at home? Are you tired of the local bar scene and all of it's drama? Do you want to get out of the house and away from the husband and kids for a while? Feeling like you need some exercise but totally hate your local gym?
Why not try something new? Come on out and skate with the Voodoo Vixens!
Do you have what it takes? Here is what you need. Most importantly, you MUST:
*Be at least 21-35 years of age.
*Have valid health insurance.
*Provide copy of photo ID.
*Understand and accept the risks of roller derby.
*Sign all required paperwork provided by us.

What You Will Need:
You need to obtain ALL of the following equipment during your trial period. You may come out and watch without it, but will be exempt from actual practice.
*Pro-Tec Skateboard (not bicycle) Helmet (flat black)
*Pro-Tec Elbow Pads (black)
*Pro-Tec Wrist Guards (black)
*Pro-Tec Knee Pads (black)
*Quad Speed Skates in black. (Wheel and lace color do not matter.) (Absolutely NO blades!)
We do work with girls on all skating technique, so don't worry if you are a little rusty. There are some skills we will test you on at the end of your trial period that you will have plenty of time to perfect.
If think you're ready all you have to do is come to practice and meet us.
We practice every Monday and Wednesday evening at 7 and we are usually done at about 9.
Even if you just think you might be interested, but not quite sure yet if derby is right for you, that is ok. You are more than welcome to come out and watch our practices. There is NO obligation to join for anyone that just wants to watch.
