This page is run by Thru The Ashes. We have put together a fund raising event for the Red Cross to aid flood victims
"Sandbaggers Ball 2008"..Flood relief Concert..."Fightin' High Water with High wattage!
Objective: To provide fundraising for disaster relief (flooding, tornados, earthquakes, etc.) with a projected goal of raising $15,000+ to go solely to the American Red Cross disaster fund to help victims via a concert held in Hannibal, MO featuring local artists and musicians
time and date: 11:00 am to 11:00 PM on Saturday, July 26th
8 local bands or acts willing to perform for approximately 1 hour each
Admission price will be $10 at the gate and there will be no age limit
All vendors will be required to report in advance to the vendor coordinator (Shala Dryden)in order ensure proper space allotment
Band performance time slots will be decided solely by the band coordinator with the best interest of the venue in mind
Audience will be responsible for bringing lawn chairs. Absolutely no coolers will be carried in as food and beverage will be available on grounds
Anyone wanting to help on staff or sponsor the event should contact Brian Yelton (event coordinator) at 573-565-2806. If you are wanting your company logo on the t-shirt, please submit before Monday, July 14th
Conclusion: The proposed event stated above will serve to help those victims of natural disasters and honor the many citizens of these great communities we live in who have so unselfishly given their time and resources to help out our fellow family, friends, neighbors, and citizens in their time of need. To those who have lost, we are all in this together. To those who have given unselfishly for the betterment of those around them, we tip our hat to you. This is Sandbagger’s Ball 2008!
