"...it all depends on how you define a miracle. some people think it is a miracle when God does the will of the people. but here in this community, we think a miracle is when people do the will of God." ---Sufi monk
it's life that matters, nothing but life - the process of discovering, the everlasting and perpetual process, not the discovery itself, at all. - dostoevsky
all my reasons for existing in this world begin and end with Jesus Christ. i've only recently begun to believe that God loves me as i am and as i will be, all at once. i always knew, but it took a while to get from my head to my heart. sometimes i wish following Christ would be more parallel to my plans, but then again i don't. my plans lack imagination and the abundance that comes with His.

i believe that there are no ordinary people. and there are no purposeless events.
my fam rocks. we're all crazy, but it's ok. my friends = God-sends.
i'm laid back and sarcastic and i will do just about anything to help you. i love good conversations, new people, different perspectives; but nothing will replace my lifetime friends. i run and enjoy it. i'm flipping spontaneous, particularly in the dance party area. i laugh lots, but most people don't get my sense of humor. i apologize for that. i'm always up for a weird photo op. the driving range is one of my happy places. sidewalk chalk/crayons = stress relief. so do dishes and folding laundry (that makes me 35 and 5 simultaneously?) sometimes i'm good at life, other times i suck at it.
i know that God is good. all the time.

life isn't fair. it's difficult. from the moment you draw your first breath to the last. -francine rivers

central to the Christian experience is the art of questioning God. not belligerent, arrogant questions that have no respect for our Maker, but naked, honest, vulnerable, raw questions, arising out of the awe that comes from engaging the living God" -rob bell
