About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6 !
Escaped the circus in the not so distant past...boy do I miss the clowns and big cats...::sigh:: Hmm...lessee... I'm fairly successful, self-sufficient, feisty, headstrong woman who owns her own home and has two fabulous felines (Ballyhoo and Boo Boo Kittie). I've starred in a few art house/indie films, shown my paintings in art shows, performed in spoken word performances, strutted down the catwalk in a few fashion shows, had a song or two written about me, played with big cats and wolves, hung out with a mad spitting herd of alpacas, climbed the Troll of Fremont (in high heels and a skirt no less), experienced the thrill of playing rugby, surfed in shark infested waters, experienced true loss, overcome great odds, stared down my ghosts and manage to always land on my feet.
I come from a very long of incredibly strong women...warrior women (quite literally) and am not one to back down or cower. I protect those I love with great ferocity and know the ancient Chinese Art of Kung Fu Laundry.
My nickname Feline was given to me by my mother and has quite a few roots and reasons behind it (including my personality)...if you know me...you know what they are.

My Interests

Boo Boo Kittie

Ballyhoo

Blog entry on their names before you ask...
When Ballyhoo was just a wee kitten snuggling with her favorite little bunny...she's now two years old!Boo Boo Kittie and Ballyhoo being ridiculously cute and cuddly...they must be plotting something... Ballyhoo and Boo Boo Kittie (my two kitties), movies, cartoons, cooking, Mode Merr Clothing . Bellydancing, pin up girls, girlie beauty products, good champagne, vodka, martinis, Pixie Fashion accessories , Andy Warhol, Mucha, Steinlen, vintage advertisements, typography, circus, egyptology, circus posters, rockabilly, coffee, leopard print, tattoos, monkeys, kitties, clowns, big cats, cooking, painting, horseback riding, motorcycles, diners, William Carlos Williams, old movies, interesting jewelry, smelling like sin and candy, Hawaii, wild nights out (primarily with my sister Cherry Baby ), spending time with my boyfriend Mick , lazy Sunday mornings, mythology, folklore, dressing like a sex kitten, sleep paralysis, wildlife rescue driving, feline medicine, my iPod, my friends...
I'm hopelessly addicted to the fashions of Mode Merr Clothing and purses by Dungaree Dolly .

I'd like to meet:

I actually joined up on this thing to keep in touch with already existing friends and acquaintances that I simply don't get a chance to talk to that often. The bulk of my friends list are people I actually know/have met in person or are friends of people I know in real life.

As far as the kind of people I'd be interested in "meeting" on here...I'm looking for kindred spirits. If I think you're such an individual then I'll either add you or approve your "friend request". Drama queens, scam artists (of the spam/phishing variety), porn stars (or wannabes), self-made internet models, underage folks, people who have a cat "fetish", people who wear items of clothing with kittens and balls of yarn on them (YOU people in particular...you yarn playing kitten wearing folk that is), and of course collectors of "hoochies"(or insert other term for tarts) need not contact me as I have better things to do with my time...no really...I do.

That being said...I'd like to meet the big freakin' pink bunny

Far too many bands to give a complete catalog on this thing...that's for sure! Variety is the spice of life...oh yes it is. (Whoever thought I was cool because of the music I listen to...was saaaadly mistaken...hahah)

Movies:

Big Trouble In Little China, Young Frankenstein, Secondhand Lions, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Waxwork, Nightbreed, Wasabi, Secretary, Brotherhood of the Wolf, Heathers, He Loves Me He Loves Me Not, Time Bandits, Amelie, Baron Munchausen, Pirates of the Carribean, The Red Violin, Big Blue, Cabin Boy, That Touch Of Mink, Ninth Gate, Seven Year Itch, Lost Boys, How To Marry A Millionaire, Donovans Reef, Quiet Man, Krull, Videodrome, Blade Runner, Little Buddha, Chocolat, The Greatest Show On Earth, Underworld, Royal Tennenbaums, Thunderheart, Hatari!, The Matchmaker, Farce of the Penguins, The Phantom Tollbooth,Erik The Viking,Hitchikers Guide To The Galaxy, Flash Gordon, Xanadu, Sugar Hill (aka The Zombies of Sugar Hill),Alfred Hitchcock, James Bond series, Harry Potter series, Lord Of The Rings series, Indiana Jones series, Star Wars series, Vincent Price, Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Tim Burton, old kung fu movies...the list goes on and on...
Pretty much if it's interesting, funny, campy, action-packed, thrilling, artistic, sparks imagination, moving...or so god awful that you can't tear yourself away from it...I'd probably like it, own it, want to see it, or have seen it (or should see it).
Movies I've been in:
At The Party - 1988(87?)
Boy Meats Girl - (1998?)
Forrest Gump (1993?)

Television:

Adult Swim, various cooking shows, cartoons (the "classics", cheesy 80's cartoons (Thundercats HO!) and recent ones such as Samurai Jack, Venture Bros., Courage the Cowardly Dog, Carnivale, Rome, Titus, any documentary that catches my attention...particularly ones on Egyptology... oh yeah...and anything my two kitties make me watch...when they commandeer the remote control! (they're feisty little kitties!)

To be honest...I tend to watch more movies than actual television programs.

Books:

Neuromancer, Neil Gaiman, mythology, Harry Potter series, Shakespeare, William Carlos Williams, Dostoyevsky, Cookbooks (I have a ton of them), The Art Of War, Michael Lee West, Andrew Vachss, various volumes of mythology and folklore (the eddas, Greek mythology, Gypsy folklore...etc.), the "classics" (Byron, Keats, Faulkner et al)....anything that is capable of capturing my attention and maintaining it...bonus if it sparks my imagination.

Currently reading "Water For Elephants"...if you've ever worked for a circus...this is a must-read. If you love the circus...you might not really get it...but you'd probably like it anyway.

Heroes:

My mother for her martial arts prowess (and kicking ass well into her 30's back in the 70's when there weren't too many women participating in martial arts), raising two hellions, for sacrifices she's made being a military wife and mother of two, and for picking herself up and dusting her ass off when life gave her some hard knocks. My younger sister for being a bad ass, sticking to her guns, being true to herself, and not compromising herself for the sake of others. My grandmother for being a Gunny Sgt. in the Marines, a professional dancer, being a divorcee in the 50's when it was frowned upon, and taking life by the balls. Gunther Gebel Williams who led an incredible life and had some amazing cats (some of whom I've had the pleasure of meeting in person). And of course Catwoman ...
