Well if these are the qualities that you think of when you hear the word superstar, then you have just described Shonte’ Renee’. Who is Shonte’ Renee’ you might ask? Shonte’ Renee’ is a 19 year old phenomenon that hails from Atlanta, Georgia. Don’t let the age fool you, she may be young but she has years of experience in the music industry under her belt. Her small petite figure packs a large punch with a combination of her strong vocals and her hard hitting dance moves. She electrifies the crowd with her stage presence and leaves fans begging for an encore. If anyone were asked to describe her by using one word, they would simply reply by saying “superstar.” Shonte’ was born in Atlanta, GA at Grady Memorial Hospital. She was befriended at an early age by platinum recording artist Letoya Luckett. Through this relationship, Shonte’ learned many of the ups and downs that the entertainment industry can put you through. She then applied this knowledge to overcome obstacles placed in her way. She acknowledges that God is her only source of strength and no man controls her destiny. This is perhaps the greatest lesson she learned from this relationship. Shonte’ was discovered at the age of thirteen. Since then, she has been surrounded by musical geniuses shaping and molding her into the young talented artist she is today. She has had the privilege to work with producers who produced some of your favorite hits for artists such as: TLC, Destiny’s Child, Monica, Babyface, Pink, Jennifer Lopez, Faith Evans, and many more. Shonte’ had her hand in writing as well. She has a placement on American Idol Jr.. She also wrote a single for an artist that released Overseas and the numbers are growing rapidly. Shonte’ Renee’ is making a lasting impression on fans around the world. Being humble and very conscious of her social responsibilities, she always says that once the cameras are rolling, you automatically become a role model to an impressionable fan. Shonte’ has all of the ingredients for longevity in this industry.
