About Me

I currently have kittens that are available for adoption NOW.
These kittens are of feral mothers but are not feral themselves. I play with them every chance I get and they are adorable!
They are notoriously difficult to photograph, so I will put up new photos as I can. If anyone is interested in adopting a kitten, please send me a myspace message!

A donation of just $10.00 will feed 10 cats for a week
If anyone would like to donate food or supplies please send me a message for a shipping address or to set up a drop off time.
I try to check my messages every day.
I am currently operating a Trap-Neuter-Return program in my neighborhood. I capture feral/stray cats and get them the care they need to lead healthy, happy lives. If they cannot be socialzed, I return them to their outdoor home. I also provide shelter, food and water for them.
Five years ago when I moved into my house there were 2-4 strays, now there are 28 (not including the various others that wander in and out of my neighborhood). I started helping to control the feral cat population in June of 2005. This number is contantly changing though as some dissappear and others show up.
I have converted a spare room to house the cats before and after surgery. My vet has generously donated the cost of 2 surgeries and in December of 2005 PAWS contacted me. I am currently getting my cats taken care of by them. As of April 2006 they have spayed/neutered 11 of my cats. Putting the total at 16 fixed, 2 to go. (This doesn't include the 6 March 2006 kittens)
PAWS takes very good care of them. The cats are spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and ticks, wormed, treated for ear mites, tested for FeLV/FIV and vaccinated for rabies and distemper. All cats are eartipped for identification. This is so local animal control will know that they are being cared for and does not remove them.
Currently I go through approximately 30lbs of dry and 12 large cans of cat food per week. Please donate, if you can. See the list below for ideas.
Wishlist:
dry cat food (Dad's Brand or Wal-Mart's Special Kitty are the least $)
canned cat food
old towels
old blankets
1" Thick craft foam
carriers
toys
catnip
money
A big THANK YOU to everyone who has already donated goods or money!! It is much appreciated by myself and the cats.
