Hi i'm Evan Marien. i go to Berklee College of Music. i study electric bass privately with Matthew Garrison....... He's an amazing person and im glad he is sharing his vision of music with me... i have endorsement deals with Eden Amps and Rotosound Bass strings and have been featured on their website articles. I like to think i'm a good person, but sometimes i don't think and end up doing something stupid. I also like to think that i'm complicated.Ive also done work and interviews for the South African Bass Players Collective. Currently working on my 4th independant cd release. I play in Boston and in New York City frequently with friends Rob Hecht. I was an understudy for Jimmy Haslip once (Yellowjackets) i know i know understudy right? hey, thats what they called it so that's what im calling it. Thats pretty much me.
