I am looking to work with different artists that are serious about furthering their careers.At a young age I started to write songs, but it wasn't until I was 16 that I picked up an instrument which was the drums. I took lessons from Darryl Jackson for about a year. After that I decided to learn from different musicians which helped me to develop my simple in the pocket style drumming.In the 90's I co-founded a Latin rock band which I named Vela and did most of the songwriting for. After the band dissolved, I began playing in different projects in which I had the pleasure of working with very talented people, Including Jose Quintana (Too many credits to name), Viktor Serralde (latin recording artist and 97.5 radio personality) Romina Arena (RCA), Graham Ward (former Paul McCartney drummer and producer) Rocio LLamas (Pasma Music) to name a few. I was also part of Latin rock band Mundoaparte in which I did some sonwriting for as well and worked with Leticia and Jeeve from Access Denied productions. Some of these songs got heavy rotation on college, internet as well as commercial radio including Super Estrella 97.5, which retired "Soledad" at ..1 after winning their " Battle of the bands". I have toured and played venues like the Roxy, Key Club, House of Blues Etc.... and have opened for major latin artists and bands as well as played the South by Southwest Festival in Texas. I have appeared on T.V. shows such as LATV, El Show del Pueblo and LA en Vivo. I am also part of THA MASSES, a hip hop group that fuses reggae, drum"n"bass as well as latin rhythms.Most recently I have played for Check One Two, a hip hop group that has just incorporated live instruments. They are signed to World Media Records and are soon to release their debut album for that label. I also do recording sessions and production.
