About Me

I've been listening to trance for 8 years now, and was first enraptured by Paul Oakenfold's masterpiece Tranceport. I make music that I would want to hear in a club, warehouse or ravey, arena-like setting. I'm not in this to make commercially-viable pop garbage that will get Top 40 spins; I do it because I enjoy turning these concepts in my head into something I can put on my iPod and trek around with, or burn for my friends to gush about while they drown themselves in psychoactive substances. The Internet just means you get to hear these songs, too.
I've only been seriously producing trance (or trying to, anyways) for about a year-ish. Therefore, most of what's posted here (okay, all) isn't mastered or anything like that. That said, I am a willing pupil and if you have any knowledge you'd like to share on that topic or trance-production in general, I'm all ears.
If you're a DJ (or even a fan, lol) interested in supporting any of my tunes, let me know and I will send you a hi-qual copy. Thanks for listening!

Jay Brauch pres. Aureus - Intrinsic Trance 1.0

Okay, here is a mix for all of you who have been wondering when I'm actually going to record one. There are a couple slip-ups* but overall it came out pretty well... People think laptop dj'ing is easy...
