About Me

I AM SATAN!!
Ordinarily, an "About Me" would begin with the most basic elements of fact... Name, Sex, Height, Weight, Eye Color... All the elements you can gather being in a room with me for any amount of time, and generally any reason... some of the elements you can probably even figure out from the pictures accessable from this page... in the end, what difference does it really make?... if you are going to judge our relationship based primarily on my appearance and not my actions, then I am afraid I really dont want to know you anyway... the best of me is below the surface... from there, I really am quite simple... feelings are everything... each feeling has a priority... the closer those feelings are to my core self, the more powerful they are... at the very core is Unconditional Love... to create, to nurture, to learn, to teach, to help, to imagine, to feel... love for Freedom and Honor... Love for Peace, Unity and Prosperity... Love for Nature and Exploring... Love for Romance and Beauty... and an Unconditional Love for a very amazing few people... For such things I would go to the end of the earth without a second thought... with each layer out, many things are filtered away to protect this core... Love is not a word I take or use lightly for just that reason, yet it truly defines who I am.... as a person, I am stubbornly passive aggressive... Accepting of all people... and genuine both in intent and action... I am known to the Lost Boys as Rafiki... both wise and funny, and crazy to boot...in Swahili it also means Friend or Companion making it even more touching to me.... to learn about the other aspects of me, the Lost Boys and other close friends are the people who know best... I am very self concious, I often shrink from compliments because I am unsure of trusting it in myself.... I was born very lucky... I discover a new skill or talent nearly every day, yet I always wonder if tomorrow will be the day it runs out....I only accept compliments I am sure I can live up to... that is why they are the best to ask.... because I know they believe in things about me... things I wont tell you because I am so unsure that I will live up to it.... Carpe Diem is a running blog in depth on the person I am discovering inside of myself...I encourage you to learn about yourself.... you will find things you never knew...
Some people fear and hate me for being an embodyment of freedom... freedom to be yourself and make your own choices... for showing others that they are also free...I pitty those people... to be afraid of your own freedom is no way to live.... and I will stand here alone,it is my right as a human being to be different... to be unique... to be myself.... aside from those scared people, everybody seems to think I'm pretty cool.... in fact, most people that give me a chance seem to react very positively.... thats just who I am... being mean to an accepting, genuine person is nearly impossible... real people are too special to scare away...
"Eccentricity is not, as dull people would have us believe, a form of madness. It is often a kind of innocent pride, and the man of genius and the aristocrat are frequently regarded as eccentrics because genius and aristocrat are entirely unafraid of and uninfluenced by the opinions and vagaries of the crowd."
"When we remember we are all mad, the mysteries disappear and life stands explained."
"He may be mad, but there's method in his madness. There nearly always is method in madness. It's what drives men mad, being methodical."
The Invisible Man - Elijan Riggs
I am the watcher in the world... a part, but not a part. I am the invisible man. I am here! Why can't they see me?! Can they not see my arms outreached? Can they not see the tears on my cheek? Or do they simply not care? If they could only know me! ME! They would not simply pass by. They would smile and wave. They would say "Hi", or stop to chat about philosophy or religion, or even the weather. I wouldn't care. Maybe not all, but most... or some! Please...oh, please... I'm here!
Their lives go on, and my life exists within theirs. Perhaps I am a dream - their dream... or mine... or somewhere in between.
But wait! Someone brushed by! I am real! I felt it! I have skin - I felt their touch! I have a heart - I felt it quicken! If I felt them, then they must have felt me. Please stop! I'm here! It's me! Yes, me! The invisible man!
What's that... my name? It's Elijah. It is so very nice to meet you! Thank you for seeing me and not passing by.
I know I'm real. I know I'm here. It's nice to know that you know it too. You give me strength in your smile and your warm, gentle hand. You give me hope. It is thanks to you and others like you that I can go on. For I must go on, you see... I am here. And I am real.
I am the invisible man.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain) and Yoda - Two completely unrelated individuals, but both equally interesting, Samuel Clemens was a wonderful writer, and had some very interesting things to say about the nature of people, and the basic expieriences we all share or witness (it may not have been his profession, but he was still quite insightful).... Yoda too understood the nature of people, and come on, the force... thats good stuff right there

I will add to my original want to meet people and add V.... he is just way too kick ass not to be mentioned...

"Voila! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V."

"Glass and Steel"

Michael Aleksiuk

Shining towers of glass and steel,
Filled with people who cannot feel,
Is this shimmering vision real,
Or just an apparition?

You waken at the break of day,
With heart of stone and eyes of clay,
Life wasn’t meant to be this way,
But you need the money.

No time to pause, it’s time to go,
No time to watch the flowers grow,
Or marvel at the full moon’s glow,
You do not even notice.

You take the bus, the elevator,
You take your place, and eight hours later,
As your fear gets ever greater,
You take a tranquilizer.

The very next day you do it again,
And then again and again and again,
You say you will enjoy life when
Some day you can retire.

You’re not free like you’d hoped to be,
You’ve sold your soul, that’s plain to see,
For now … and for eternity,
The Devil would approve.

My darling child, I feel for you,
But there is nothing I can do,
You see, myself I’m that way too,
We’re in this thing together.

We’re slaves of Mammon, slaves of greed,
Craving things we do not need,
But self-made slaves, they can be freed,
The chains are in our heads.

Blushing fields of laughing flowers,
Kissed by sunshine’s gentle powers,
Bathed by joyful, soulful showers –
Could these simple things be ours?
They’re free to you and me.

Yet shining towers of glass and steel,
Are filled with people too numb too feel,
Can this unholy vision be real?
Is it a premonition…
Of the human condition…?
