With Love Crochet & Parapluie Designs is a small handmade company I've been trying to launch since 2006. Struggling through High School and the beginning of College as "the grandma", I finally realized that the art of crochet gained a popular following. As Fashion trends leaned toward knit and crocheted hats, leg warmers, large cabled scarves and accessories, I realized that instead of spending the big bucks I could make them myself. This passion led into a desire to create more, more, more!! and a desire to make handmade available.
I jumped on the handmade bandwagon a little to late I thought until I started marketing & publicizing online and off. I now became the "Wow! You make this?" girl with friends on campus begging and pleading for hats, scaves, etc. I'd hope that my sales are higher, but I am pretty sure that I am now something the beginning crocheter I used to be would appreciate and look up to for inspiration. I am a long way from a proffesional but I am able to inspire myself and that's all I was looking for!
So don't be afraid to buy handmade!!
Me, the Person
I am a newly made Graphic Design major and am a part of Lancer Productions (www.longwood.edu/lp) I love puns and taking things a little to far. I have an attractive personality.
In my spare time I like to work on graphics for my adds, for free tags, and just make cute things for myspace and facebook.
