BLUESTONE founded (1995) Miodrag Mika Pavlović (blues guitarist, songwriter, producer and journalist) and blues singer,guitarist and songwriter Zoran Zojko Obradović (ex: Strip Blues Band, Raw Hide, Down Homes).
Since middle of seventies, Mika was member of Belgrade blues bands :,,Blues vremeplov“(Blues Timevessel) ,,Sirova koža“ (Raw Hide), Down Homes and Bluestone, which had performances in the clubs but also on numerous domestic and foreign jazz and blues festivals.
The basic concept of the Bluestone music is to have and build self identity using music heritage of Balkan soul and perform it in blues way, but not copying just Black Blues Legends.This group trying to use various ethnic instruments and incorporate than in Blues.
The result of such constellation is Blues with very specific aroma, that's leading us from cotton plantations and fields of USA south in the past time, to Balkans rocky mountains ranges,and same time opening new horizon's for future of the Blues.
BLUESTONE su osnovali (1995) Mika Pavlović (ex: Blues Vremeplov, Sirova Koža,Down Homes) i Zoran Zojko Obradović (ex: Strip Blues Band, Sirova Koža, Down Homes) autorski tandem koji je u proteklih dvadeset godina ostvario opus od stotinak sopstvenih kompozicija, od kojih je dvadesetak realizovano na njihova tri samostalna izdanja ( Boys are Back / 1995, Live Kitchen / 1997 i Live in Taboo / 1998).
Live in Bibis Club (1998) i drugo CD izdanje Live in Taboo (1999) je izbor od mnogobrojnih blues standarda koje grupa ima na repertoaru.
SaraÄ‘ivali su sa mnogim blues muziÄarima i nastupali na brojnim jazz & blues festivalima, u klubovima i kulturnim centrima.
