Corish Begaud

Corish Begaud (Vanessa Corish & Paul Begaud) - originally from Sydney, Australia we've spent the past year recording our album in London. We are now in Los Angeles getting things happening here... loving the sunshine! We've been fortunate to have had other artists record our songs including the number 1 US hit "Now That I Found You" by Terri Clark, the number 1 UK R&B hit "End Of The Line" for The Honeyz and "Dare to Dream" performed by Olivia Newton John and John Farnham at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Opening Ceremony. We are ASCAP and BMI performance award winners, gold & platinum record award winners (for our production and songwriting efforts for other artists) and Paul has been nominated 3 times for the APRA (Australian Grammy’s) Producer of the Year. But what we've always been moving towards is our debut album which will be released mid 2009. Working with The Rolling Stones engineer Chris Kimsey we recorded the old fashioned way at Olympic, British Grove, Metropolis, State of the Ark Studios (London) and Windmill Lane in Dublin (Ireland). Using classic recording techniques, we wanted to capture the warmth and beauty in the recordings… We are still working on the album but have posted some Rough Mixes so you can hear how we are progressing….. enjoy!
