My name is Richard Pryce Matthews and I am running for the U.S. House of Representatives in Maryland's Second Congressional District. I am a traditional conservative, advocating strict adherence to our Constitution, small government, a non-interventionist foreign policy, and free markets.
When it became clear that no one running supports a liberty platform I decided to challenge the incumbent. I believe we deserve real change in Washington.
I’m tired of the same old politicians with the same old talk. Politicians who speak out against the war but continue to vote for its funding. Politicians who claim to support our rights but vote for legislation that strips them away. I am tired of politics as usual.
The only way to stop this nonsense of politics as usual is to remove those same old politicians. We need real change in Congress. And this change is not just about removing one party for the other. Its about removing typical politicians and putting in regular Americans.
Through limited government and adherence to the Constitution we will restore Liberty, Peace, and Prosperity.
