About Me

AIM=SirHoneytoast (James)
“Archer v. Light is the titillating musical collaboration of James Duff, David Laprade, Stephen Laprade, and Jared Mann: four (dashing) young men from northern Rhode Island. With each member adding to the group’s dynamic, wide-screen sound, Archer v. Light aims to create songs that evoke the musky familiarity of a warm ocean breeze while still retaining the spicy originality so prized in the modern music scene. Gentle acoustic guitars, ear-catching piano licks, strong melodies, and a little hint of boy-next-door charm drift among the notes to create a distinctly inviting aura that simply cannot be denied. Add to that lyrics and vocalizations that are at once honest, subtle, and comical while still being mysteriously personal and easily relatable, and after three minutes, you will wonder if you knew them all your life. What began one summer as a casual jam session has evolved into a tantalizing experience that finishes beautifully in soft notes of masculine harmony.”
