Ok so back to reality hello I’m kooky and I'm the new owner so here is a few FF(fun facts) about me. i'm from one of the awesomeness islands in the wolrd Puerto Rico but i moved to one of the fastes Cities in the world New York City mhm specificly the boogie down Bronx ^_^ i'm in college and my major is Culinary arts which by the way i got to chop up a pig today and i got some pics oh and if your a vegan or veg head than im sorry -_-" but this is my career of choice.so yeaa any questions you want to ask feel free to do so ^_^

Kooky & DaisyThis is Brian Elwin Haner Jnr
He celebrates his birthday on the July 7th [every year] and when he's not stuck on a tour bus he lives in Huntington Beach, California with his girlfriend, the beautiful Michelle Dibenedetto and their dog Pinkly.
Also known by his alter ego; Synyster Gates, he is the lead guitarist for the legendary hardcore metal band Avenged Sevenfold. He acquired his nick-name with the help of Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan and an unknown quantity of alcohol, driving through the park shouting 'I am Synyster Gates and I am fucking awesome!'
The first songs he tried to play on a guitar were Jimmy Page [Led Zeppelin] solos, something which his father, Brian Haner Snr or Papa Gates, was not too happy about!
Brian graduated from Mayfair High School and went on to study jazz guitar at the Musician's Institute in Hollywood, dropping out to tour with the fledgling Avenged Sevenfold in 2000. His guitar skills were first heard on To End The Rapture which was re-recorded after his 1999 arrival to the band.
His influences are fairly eclectic reaching from Dimebag Darrell and Slash to Django Reinhardt and Frank Gambale [a jazz fusion guitarist most famously known for his 'sweep picking' techniques which Brian uses in many Avenged Sevenfold tracks].
Side projects have included the Danny Elfman influenced Pinkly Smooth, which although disbanded there are rumours that 2 old songs will surface in another project featuring Synyster and The Rev. His talents have also been snapped up by Good Charlotte who collaborated with Brian and Matt on The River and also James Hart's post Eighteen Visions band Burn Halo, where he solos on Dirty Little Girl.
Brian is endorsed by Schecter Guitar Research, he and fellow guitarist Zacky Vengeance can be found on the company's website.
With such talents come awards, in 2006 he was named Metal Hammer's 'Young Shredder of the Year' and also Total Guitar's 'Guitarist of the Year'.
Stuff you might not know..
* Brian is allergic to bee stings and was once hospitalised as a child. He is, understandably twitchy if they're in the area.
* Brian, like the other members of Avenged Sevenfold, loves to play golf [yes.. you did read that right! Golf!]
* Brian dislikes the 'Haner' tattoo on his back, it was one of the first he had done and he believes it to look amateur. Which is why you rarely see him without his shirt. [shame]
* While recording the fourth, self titled album Brian refused to play any of his guitars once a string had broken. The band lost recording time when the final guitar broke and he had Schecter send him new guitars. His reaction to this? 'I do loves mah guns!'
* Brian once auctioned off a bass to raise money for victims of the California wild fires.

He blows out birthday candles on December 11th. He spends his down time with stunning girlfriend Gena Paulhus and pet pooch Ichabod C. Vengeance.
People expected Zacky to fail right from the beginning, which is why his stage name; Zacky Vengeance, is so close to his heart. A thought which is echoed by his clothing line's moto: 'The best form of revenge is to better yourself.'
He is the rhythm guitarist for Avenged Sevenfold, although he does take an equal role in the characteristic guitar duels with fellow guitarist Synyster Gates.
Zacky is a lefty and taught himself to play guitar by flipping his father's acoustic upside down, the first song he learned was Redemption Song by Bob Marley.
You can probably credit Zacky and Matt Sanders as being the creators of Avenged Sevenfold, they joined forces after leaving their respective bands; M.P.A [Mad Porno Action] and Successful Failure. M.P.A were not quite as popular as Zacky may have hoped, bombing disgracefully at a school concert and then being accused of stealing the mics the following day.
Zacky has a soft spot for most kinds of music, admitting to being a fan of Danny Elfman and Elvis Costello. 'It's a bit all over the place..'.
Although the name Avenged Sevenfold was penned by Matt, Zacky takes the credit for the band's acronym 'A7X' because, according to his band mate '..he [Zacky]'s a little smart ass!'
Zacky and Synyster Gates are endorsed by Schecter Guitar Research, both guys feature on the company's web site.
Personally I think that in comparison to Syn Gates, Zacky is perpetually underrated as a guitarist, he is responsible for many of the more complicated riffs which feature on the albums, most notably the off key chromatic scale on Scream, which replicates the sound of a Las Vegas fruit machine.
Zacky is half Italian and half German, heritage he blames for his occasional lapses into tubbiness, during the recording of the self titled album Zacky and Synyster stuck to strict diets so they wouldn't look fat on the dvd.
Stuff you might not know..
* Zacky lived in New York and Egypt as a child before finally settling down with his parents in Huntington Beach.
* If Zacky hadn't been in Avenged Sevenfold he might have been a professional baseball player.
* The Anaheim Angels tattoo he had behind his left ear is the result of a bet he made with Synyster Gates.
* The 6661 logo which appears on Zacky's Schecter is the date that Avenged Sevenfold were formed [1999] which he flipped upside down to make into one of his personal logos.
*Zacky came up with Johnny Christ's stage name. He liked it because it would piss people off!
