Hmmm, what can I write about me...? I have been married for 24 years to a really sweet guy named Robbie. He always was and forever will be the love of my life. I was born and raised in Coburg, Germany. I miss Germany, but after living in the U.S. for the past 16 years I would miss a lot about America if we was to move back home. I have 2 great kids. My son Danny is stationed with the Army in Fort Campbell, KY but will be in Fort Stewart in May 2009. He just got back from a tour in Iraq. We are so glad he's home safe! I have a 17 year old daughter, but she does not live with us anymore. We were strict on her because we love her and don't want her to get hurt. She viewed that as "us not wanting her to be happy." I miss her and I hope she realizes that she's made a wrong turn and needs to come back the other way. What gets me going every morning is the fact that I am passionately involved in animal rescue. One thing I have to say negatively about the United States is that there is an extremely low regard for animals. Where I come from folks generally love their pets and loving their pets involves neutering and spaying. I think it's a shame that a modern country such as America has not figured out the importance of that. Stray animals as far as the eye can see... So, I do what ever I can to help. Even if I can help only one animal at a time it's better than nothing. My husband helps and supports me in this endeavor. And of course, I have raised my children to be sensitive to this matter as well. I am proud to say that I have raised them to love and respect animals for they are the only creatures who give unconditional love...
