First off, let me introduce myself. My name is Jack Sparrow or Captain Jack Sparrow to my crew and anyone else who really knows me. Some consider me to be slightly odd and even a little crazy but you have to take in consideration the fact that I was once marooned on an island and may have overbaked a little in the sun. I love my ship, the Black Pearl, and rum. I love rum and I will do anything for either of those things. I am foremost a pirate captain of the carribean sea though and I've survived mostly by using my negotiation skills and my wit (or at least I try). I admit that some of the stories you may have or have not heard about me, were partly my imagination. Well, come on, I'm a pirate captain, I have a reputation to uphold. I have one posession that I hold very dear, that is my compass. Without that I would never know where I was going. A while back me and my crew were cursed with immortality. I guess, depending on how you look at that, it could be a good or bad thing. I try to avoid confrontations at all costs. Don't like them. I just believe in, why fight when you can negotiate?, which leads some to believe I am a coward, which is only partly true. I do tend to study people until I figure them out and then manipulate them to get what I need. Just being honest. Savvy? Well, I'm off to find some rum. It's always disappearing. There's never any around when you need it.....
