-Acoustic Medicine are good words to describe the music of Brick Fields. Rachel and Larry Brick met in Eureka Springs Arkansas in November of 2007 and were married July of 2008. They have dedicated their lives to making music. In the short time that they've been together music has taken them from Arkansas to California and back, twice so far. Rachel born in Pine Bluff, AR in 1974 and Larry born in West Memphis, AR in 1953 have found that although their generational music and life influences are different they work together in a way that creates a wonderful refreshing sound that is appealing to ears of all ages, and types. "We hope to encourage others to live in their gifts, it requires great faith but the joy and blessings are priceless."
Rachel and Larry frequent The New Delhi in Eureka Springs, Smiling Jacks in Fayettville, Joco Java in Clarksville, Landry's in Fort Smith, and beginning April 25th 2009 they will be at Bamboo Garden in Mountain Home, AR every Saturday night at 7PM. They also share their music at different events, churches, and other music venues. They are hoping for an oppurtunity to record their first CD to arise soon.

Personal BIO:
Acoustic Medicine are good words to describe our music.
1Samuel 16:23 "So it came about whenever the evil spirit from God came to Saul, David would take the harp and play it with his hand; and Saul would be refreshed and be well, and the evil spirit would depart from him."
I've seen our Music which is influenced by many different types of music and by the Holy Spirit ring true to these words in our present world today. Making the choice to live life and support a family solely off the income of two struggling musicians was not a difficult one of heart and soul, although it was difficult by the judgment of the world. It is all I know, my purpose, and the path that I must take. There are times when we must survive off of $50 a week or less but we share our gifts that God has given us and we always come out blessed and well taken care of and most of all deeply happy. I believe that if we all did this the world would be a happier much more faithful place.
I, Rachel was born in 1974 in Pine Bluff, AR and grew up listening to my mothers albums from the 60's and always loved them, James Taylor, Carol King, Seals and Crofts. At a young age I loved Barry Manilow and Jimmy Buffet. I became a big fan of The Eagles when I was 13 and in my teenage years started listening to 80's Rock and Roll religiously. I sang in school, church, and community theater from 11 years old on then studied music and theater for two years in NYC at AMDA. I then began performing live in clubs. Music has taken me coast to coast many times. From festivals with thousands to small rooms with one or less listening. They are all just as important. There is always someone who needs healing, even if it's the one doing the singing. I knew from the time I was 2 yrs old that music was my calling in life and pursed it from then on out. Through much humility, doubt, and fear, through many travels, experiences, egos, temptations, and opportunities lost and taken I finally met my husband and musical partner just last year, Larry Brick. We share many loves, our love for Christ and our Creator, our Love for music, our love for the simple life, and our love for each other.
Larry was born in 1953 and grew up in West Memphis, AR. He found his calling in music at age 17. Larry married his first musical partner in his early twenties. They started out playing folk music 5 nights a week in southern Florida then quickly went on to leading worship at church. They spent well over 20 years together playing worship music from coast to coast and in that time recorded 6 CD's some of which were signed and secure in the Nashville music business.
Larry and I met in Eureka Springs, AR through a mutual friend one night during a show. We instantly clicked. I believe it was divine intervention. The story a dear friend tells of that night involves winds blowing, lighting crashing, and the most powerful music he's ever heard. All I remember is pure peace, beautiful music, and a feeling which I was later to find out was true love. Ahhhhhh......blah blah blah
Anyway...........
We now reside in the Ozark mountains on the edge of the National Forest in the small town of Hagarville where we spend much of our time writing new songs, expanding our musical talents, constructing a homestead, my children are young and much of my time is spent doing motherly duties. Larry works graciously on the house and composes beautiful guitar music every day which brings peace to our home. We are hoping for the opportunity to make a great recording of all the new material we are working on and praying to remain in the light of Love.
We are available for nearly all occasions.
