Reggae Recycle Patrol was formed in Sweden during the Uppsala reggaefestival of 2004 when a group of thirty people agreed to make a major effort into helping with cleaning up and recycling the waste on the festival area. Today the Reggae Recycle Patrol is a project with recycling as the focus,informing and educating people the importance of finding efficient solutions for reducing our refuse,though recycling is also a part of everyday lifestyle. During the spring of 2007 a few members of The Reggae Recycle patrol formed a musical group naming themselfs The Cultivators, with the name in mind and with a passion for Mother Earth the band wants to create a consiousness to take care of the nature before its to late. The members of the band consist of artist's from all over the world. One of the original members of the band has now relocated in the U.K and is continuing his work though the new formed band Northern Reggae Generator.The goal is to achive though music,
Create the cleanest festivals by offering a well organised efficient refuse and recycling scheme,Reduce the amount of waste going to landfill by sorting and recycle the many diffrent types of material associated with events.Create an educational atmosphere to teach artist's and festival goers the benifits of recycling.
