About Me

Born and raised in Mexico, DJ Señor Priego started deejaying indie pop and downtempo electronica in Mexico City in 1995. A writer and translator, he was one of the founders of the Alcachofa Sound Arts DJ collective and the Parador Análogo Sound System. Now based in London, UK, he specializes in Latin-inspired beats, covering a wide array of sonorities, from the traditional folkloric sounds of old-school salsa, merengue and cumbia to jazzy, soulful, deep Latin house and eclectic tropical electronica. He participates actively with the Movimientos Latin American Network crew along DJs Cal Jader, Pablo N, Arias, Clemente and others. He is the resident DJ and promoter of La Leche Libre! the vintage Latin beats monthly party at the Old Dairy, 1-3 Crouch Hill, London N4. The first Friday of every month. He wants to DJ as much as he can, so give him a shout!
