My Interests

Film, fashion, art, music, a good read, the desert, my dog, travel, a long walk, , dinner with friends, foraging, photography.

I'd like to meet:

Music:

I can live without new country, metal and punk. All else is a go.

Movies:

Rosemary's Baby, Bottle Rocket, Rope, Strangers on a Train, The Graduate, Sex and Lucia, Lost in Translation, Lolita, Women in the Dunes, Logan's Run, etc. etc. etc. I watch a lot of them!

Television:

I am lost. Only have a DVD player.

Books:

Calvino's Invisible Cities, Nabokov's Lolita, 'Franny and Zoey' by Salinger, and 'Corrections' by Thomas Bernhard, Crash by Ballard.

Heroes:

Henry Miller - he knew how to live. My dad - his energy, though slightly A.D.D., and O.C.D. is infectious. JG Ballard, because he's sick and twisted with talent. Raymond Pettibon, Picabia (read the book I am a Beautiful Monster), Frances Bacon, Araki, Hans Bellmer and Balthus; ibid. Ed Ruscha-it is possible to be famous and centered with priorities on straight. Hitchcock, Malle and Polanski. Leigh Bowery.
