How I made my profile:
I used Dave & Jay's amazing myspace profile editor . Elaine L. McDew, better known by her stage name Empress Pearl, and also known as Pearl, raised in Augusta, GA is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter of The Business Ambition Entertainment. Her Rap/R&B style is hardcore, sexual, and about real life situations. Pearl: Music is something I felt in my heart since way back whether it was dancing, singing or rapping. My eyes was always glued to the television watching my favorite female and male artist such as S.W.V, M.C. Hammer, Bel Biv DeVoe, Janet Jackson, Paula Abdul, The Jacksons, Run DMC, Yo Yo, and MC Lyte etc. Being a motherless child, growing up in the system forced me to grow up at an early age. Living with my auntie in the country kept me with a creative mind. The times I was not in church or at choir practice I was writing stories or poems. By my mom not being in my life I didn’t have any support, it had me hopeless of dreams and goals. I had to learn to start believing in myself. In 2001, I moved with my sister in Atlanta, GA hooking up with this group called Unified Colabbo. Everything went smooth for about 8 months then, the group split and went separate ways. I continued to write but, it wasn’t until I moved back to Augusta, GA when I recorded another song. Starting this group Lethal Weapons with my cousin had me aiming for the stars. We hooked up with Splash Jam South Records. It was good for awhile and I felt I was on the way to the top. In 2006, my cousin got in trouble with the law, forcing me to go solo. I stuck around with Splash Jam South until I felt there was no more room for Empress Pearl, so I branched out releasing my solo mixtape “STREET GODDESS†which is still flooding the streets right now as I speak. Performing at clubs, car shows, and various other events in Augusta, GA, Savannah, GA, Atlanta, GA and other nationwide venues put my name out there. It is my voice, my knowledge and my swag that separates me from other female artist. I hooked up wit 2 poetic productions in 2008, for a promotional deal which did not workout the way I thought it would. That’s when I came across a gentleman by the name of David Clanton Jr. of The Business Ambition Entertainment. My first single “Mesmerized†will be off my upcoming first debut album self titled “Empress Pearl†from The Business Ambition Entertainment. I’m the coolest, kindest, person u can meet, but don’t cross me, keep it short and simple. Lol! I have much love for music and I always strive to give it my best.
