About Me

Plain White myspace layout
5 boys from newport started a band, this is what happened...
So let us regale the tale of how we graced you with fail,
Josh (Lead Vocalist) and Ollie (Guitarist) met whilst working in a burger joint in Magor.
Both Josh and Ollie shared a likeness for the funkier side of music and shared common interests in the early work of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the occasional Incubus number.
If they were to create a band that would rock the funk out they'd require someone with slap bass skills of an epic nature. Along Comes Mo (Bassist) a friend of Josh's from collage.
Suddenly from the tree's of kashyyyk came a Wookie of tremendous proportions. Known for his abilities to pull trees from the very ground he's stood on and slaying an axe Wookie was called upon to convert his sheer might and volume of hair into Funk guitar and Face melting solo's.
They began to write a few track's and felt they needed a change of rhythm, This came in the form of a new drummer. Cue Ramsey he decided to join the group and bring something fresh to the scene. Whilst all other members came from a largely funk background Ramsey came from a background of fast paced Metal/Punk and Progressive music so funk was a new thing to the Ramsey.
However like the cockney chaemeleon that he is, he picked up the flava pretty quick and raised the BPM's a little to bring you the progressing sound of Mojiito that you hear today.
So raise your ale in the air and come dance in france with the band of brothers we now call MOJIITO.
