It's not often that a band comes along and sweeps everyone off their feet from the get go, but in the late summer of 2005 Yours Truly did just that. Formed from the wreckage of former bands, 4 friends (Tasos, Travis, Kyle, and Josh) came together to show this town how to put on a show worth while. With incredible stage antics ranging from guitar spins to high flying acrobatics, these boys not only put on a good concert but also an incredible show. With heartfelt vocals backed by a scorching guitar duo, thunderous bass guitar, and ball kicking drums, Yours Truly left audiences stunned. Within months of being formed Yours Truly was receiving show offers, not to mention a rapidly growing fan base. Playing along side bands such as ANIMO and the ever popular SAVING VERONA, Yours Truly seemed to be cementing their place in the Denver pop-punk scene. Sadly, just after months of forming, Yours Truly hit a brick wall in early 2006. After a band name change to SEPTEMBER SKYLINE, the magic that was Yours Truly also started to change. Tension in the band was rising and different creative avenues were being discussed. After much debate the bands drummer, Travis, was asked to leave the band. With a drastic name change and loss of an original member the band the band we all had grown to love was no more. The three remaining members continued their musical journey by adding the drumming of their close friend Patrick. The band under their new name, SEPTEMBER SKYLINE, continued to play shows and even create a full length cd. While September Skyline put on a good show and continued to gain new fans, old fans could see that the band they had fallen in love with in late 2005 was slowly dying. Tensions continued to grow within the band an guitarist Tasos was asked to leave the band. From then on the members of September Skyline came and went. September Skyline eventually died as the remaining members went in different directions. Tasos can now be seen playing with his band REGRET NIGHT, and Kyle, Josh and Patrick are in works right now on their new project FALLING STARWARD. Please check these bands out.

I am a fan of all the new projects formed out of the ashes of these bands, but in my opinion the first few months of YOURS TRULY was some of the best music I have heard and been lucky enough to have seen live. R.I.P. YOURS TRULY, you will be missed.
