I don't like this song but this is a cover by a man called Nick Pitera.
Seventeen years of my life I have been living in the glorious town of London. Personally its the best place to be as a student. I love the fact that I came jump onto TFL and explore London, i'm still discovering new things. I love going and being in the theatre, going to concerts; it's the best work out. It's the also the type of place where you can sit in a park and still have a great time, with the right people of course. I believe I have them. My friends are amazing people, the speical ones from high school, the crazy ones from college, the memorable ones from london talent 2005 and the brilliant one that I can't even remember how I know them. A downside of living in London is that it's cold all the damn time, which makes us retreat into coffee shops. Costa or Starbucks are the main two. But every now and again we might wonder into a Coffee Republic. Despite the coldness, I adore it when it snows. Nothing better than waking up and your whole street is covered in snow. Pure, untouched snow that I can go outside and step in. On the flipside when it is warm with a cool, summer breeze blowing through the trees and you are in the park listening to music having an overall amazing time due to the simple things, there's nothing like it.
This september i'm going to be moving and venturing out on my own. Gathering distance between my old friends and settting foot on the journey of finding new ones. University, supposedly the best three year of your life. Even though you are taking a course in something that might determine your future it's something that you love that will hopefully will lead you into a life that you love. But its also the time for partying, just enjoying life, first time away from the protection of your parents. Your first taste of independence and freedom. Well thats wot I think it should be like, and I hope it will be like that for me.
When I grow up I want to be happy. I want to have money to get me by. I want to have achived my dream and ambitions at that point in my life and still be striving for new ones. Life is one big oxymoron, it's so short yet the longest thing I know. I hope mine is long, with constant short bursts of happyness.
