About Me

Tiik is me, singer/songwriter/musician. Native Ban is my friends Kris Koth on bass, Joe Ellis on drums and Lisa Walker on 2nd guitar in one or two songs. "National Tears" is the title of our first project togethe..a tape. I do the rhythm and lead guitar parts, all vocals and harmonies, keyboard, and keyboard instruments..bassoon and violins mainly.We played around Washington, DC, our home town, in the 90's. Then Joe moved with his wife and kids to Atlanta, Ga. Sniff sniff!!! You can hear Native Ban tunes here, and also, I am going to upload some of my new tunes. Band Members: Players needed: the basic.. Drums, bass, second guitar with lead ability, who have mad vocals...or atleast some singing ability. Also, I'd love if you can second on some other instrument... horns, strings, bassoon, weird instruments...I'm open.
Influences: It would be nice to work with folks who like the Beatles, The Pretenders, Samuel Barbers "Adagio for Strings", Patti Smith, Lydia Lunch, L7, Tribe 8, Gossip, Souixie and the Banshees, The Noisettes, Ferron, Jefferson Airplane, Tom Waites, Odd Girl Out, the Raincoats, Bitch, Heather Nova ......for starters.
