Jesus, laughing, singing, eating, writing poetry, deep conversations with people, good-natured teasing, staying up really late, coffee!, listening to music, playing the piano (i suck at it, though), road trips, ferry rides, rain (yes. i like rain.), opera (yes. i like opera.), musical theatre, sunsets, and absolutely anything else as long as it is in the company of a great friend or two that will be able to make whatever it is that we're doing fun and memorable.
[1] Jesus (in the flesh, cause i already know him). [2] Reese Roper (lead singer of the band Five Iron Frenzy and now of the band Roper). [3] Will Ferell (because he knows how to manipulate an audience and make their bellies jiggle uncontrollably). [4] Jim Carey (because i want to further perfect the art of face contortionism and loud, high-pitched, non-sensical noise-making that he has undeniably mastered). [5] Robin Williams (so that i can learn how to control or at least harness some of my wild enthusiasm and incessant energy, and also because he does imitations really stinkin' well).
FIVE IRON FRENZY is, without a doubt, my favorite band. Some other favorites of mine include:switchfoot, united (hillsongs), mewithoutYOU, seven places, jars of clay, mae, death cab for cutie, hangnail, blindside, bloc party, time to fly, muse, the o.c. supertones, system of a down, copeland, panic! at the the disco, we are scientists, artic monkeys, emery, linkin park, seventh day slumber, ten shekel shirt, jimmy eat world, dc Talk, postal service, T-Bone, (old) mxpx, the juliana theory, weezer, modest mouse, ace troubleshooter, roper, audio adrenaline, acceptance, shane & shane, keith urban, incubus, rascal flatts, saves the day, etc.
i watch way too many movies.... more than i should. i don't really have any favorites because i always forget which ones i like more than others cause i like so many of them. oh, and i strongly believe that MOVIES ARE A LAME EXCUSE TO NOT TALK WITH YOUR FRIENDS WHEN YOU'RE HANGING OUT TOGETHER. (however, i do watch them with my friends all the time. i just would rather do something else)
the most beautiful thing about college dormatory life is that i have managed to abstain from habitual television watching almost entirely. i happen to catch a show every once in a while, but not 4 hours every day like i was watching over the summer.... (bad Jesse!) i still watch sports, though. but that doesn't really count in my opinion because there is no sex (well... except for cheerleaders...), no violence (well,... except for in football when those guys hit each other with bone-jarring force...), and no profanity! (i actually think that there isn't any of this, but i might be wrong. you never know with hollywood these days...)
i don't really like reading that much for some reason. maybe it's because i'd rather be writing something down than reading.....? the only books i really read are the Bible (good book, might i add) and textbooks for school (not so good books).
