Breathe with Brandon was originally founded by Brandon Herriott. He received his double lung transplant 12/31/04 and thru transplant we met the flynn family. The Flynn family started Asecondbreath.org. Brandon wanted to raise money for the charity.
So BWB was formed. With the help from some awesome friends, The first BWB was May of 06'. Brandon was at the show, and had a blast. He saw all these bands coming together to play for a cause that had helped him/his family so greatly.
Brandon had difficulties fom being transplanted (he had acute rejection & pneumonia) and he died on August 16, 2006. For rememberances of Brandon you can go on his myspace page at

We continue to raise money for asecondbreath.org.
Family friends held a car show.
1 of Brandon's favorite things was his red mustang and SPEED.....he was the king of going fast.
Also Brandon's picture has been published in a Biology book for State colleges, all across the U.S.A.
The books will be used for 4 years. So in a sense, Brandon did make it to college, not in person but in print...
proceeds from the use of his picture and other fees were donated as well.
So people are still going to see him even though he is not on earth...
What about a golf tournament, auction, dinner, the ideas are endless.. or just donating yourself,company it is well worth it. $100.00 pays for a family to stay in a hotel by Duke University Hospital for 3 days.
