About Me

At Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, The Line of Scrimmage filmed the E.E. Smith Golden Bulls. In this video, the coach talks about getting the players game footage so that if their parents are serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, they can still see their sons play.
While in Indianapolis, Indiana, The Line of Scrimmage visited Cathedral High School. Here, we learn how not having a home field has made the team a very tight-knit family.
In Indianapolis, The Line of Scrimmage hung out with the Cathedral Fighting Irish. This video shows the kind of intensity the team and the coach bring to every game even though they play every game on an opponents field.
While in Frederick, MD, The Line of Scrimmage visited the Maryland School for the Deaf. Here, the coaches prep the team for a game against much bigger opponents.
For the third stop in their cross-country excursion, The Line of Scrimmage crew traveled to Frederick, MD. The featured school was the Maryland School for the Deaf. In this clip, one of the football team’s cheerleaders explains what it is like to be a cheerleader for the team.
For the second series of “The Line of Scrimmage”, the crew visited Parkersburg, Iowa. In this video, Fireman Ryan Siemes describes the events of May 25th, when an EF-5 tornado destroyed the town and how the football team is giving Parkersburg hope.
"The Line of Scrimmage" airs during half time of NBC's Sunday Night Football. For the first two weeks, the crew visited Phoenix Arizona, home of Brophy Prep. Brophy was chosen because of it’s ability to deal with extreme heat. They also have a weekly ceremony where the team pledges individual commitments during the game that week. The latest video shows what the team committed to the week the Line of Scrimmage was there. Check out http://lineofscrimmage.com for more details.
This year, during NBC’s Sunday Night Football telecast, Toyota Tundra will feature the “Gutsiest High School Football Teams in America”. Over the course of the season the Line of Scrimmage program will visit eight different schools from around the country that exemplify true devotion to the game of football and the gridiron culture.
Tune in to the NBC Sunday Night Halftime Show to see what high schools make the cut.
