Illchild born Raymond Lytle hails from Omaha, Nebraska...as a youth growing up without a father figure, the youngest of two "I kinda drifted back and forth between school and the streets" says Illchild...My mom was always at work...my brother was doin his own thing so I started doin my own thing...I fell in love with basketball which kept me out of alot of trouble cuz it kept me busy, but I was never into school...after transfering from school to school, in and outta community and junior colleges, and the birth of my son, I felt basketball wasn't for me anymore...Flirting with rap in class, and with different local groups I decided to get serious about it...Deciding the only way to be the best was to learn from the best Illchild started listening to the best the rap game had to offer...The late great 2pac, Jay-Z, Jadakiss, Method Man, Snoop, and a few others were people Illchild considered as influences and led to the well rounded MC Illchild has become. Now with hitmaking ability, a smooth and distinct delivery, Illchild is ready to set the industry on fire. Unlike anything ever to come out of the midwest Illchild is ready to place his self at the top of the rap game.
