I'm not terribly sure what to put here, so I'll just ramble a bit and see where it goes. I suppose if you want to ask me a question, feel free. I'm 35, going on 36 this year. I always thought by the time I got this old, things would make more sense than they do. Oddly enough, things make even less sense than they did when I was younger! People have gotten stranger and stranger. Well, to me they have at least. Even the state of the world has gotten so bizarre I don't think I'll ever understand it. I'm sure I'll post a blog on how strange things are, so I won't belabor the points here. I have a 12-year old son who's the greatest kid on earth. Sorry to disappoint all you other parents out there who think their kid is the greatest. I'm divorced from his mother who now lives in St. Louis with her husband. We don't get to see a lot of each other, but me and the boy talk on the phone a lot. He hardly ever ceases to amaze me with his blossoming wisdom or intelligence. I suppose one thing about me is I don't believe in "normal". That has come up several times in recent weeks and I have discovered I hate the idea of "normal people". There's no such thing as "normal people". (Look for another rant on this pretty soon!) I'm me. Just me. I am my own judge about what is right for me and I expect others to judge for themselves, but never for me. I know what some of you are thinking now. No, I'm not gay, bi-sexual, or some flaming, crazed liberal. I'm an idividual. I like what I like and don't like what I don't like. If that bothers some people, then they probably shouldn't talk to me unless they're willing to respect my views because I'll respect theirs (even if they are wrong LOL!) Let's see, what else can I tell you about me? I like RPGs, video games, horror movies (even though there haven't been many good, scary ones in a long, long, time). I don't watch TV 'cause we don't have cable. I read sometimes and it's usually Stephen King or something that happens to catch my eye at the time. I love Stephen King's books! He's one of the best writers of our time. Anyway, that's about all I can think of right now. Like I said, if you want to know something not listed here, ask me. I'll probably tell you 'cause I'm just fairly open about myself. later, D
