joshua dhonte barnes which is know as J-RainN is considered to be one of the next mutil talented geniuses that will make it to the industry. J-RainN has been though alot in his life time to foster homes, to being homeless at the age of 13, to alot of other child hood drama. but even at the age of 13 he never gave up he knew he was purposed to be someone big, someone that people will go to.and at the age of 13 he also started to write poetry, he used this talent to gain strength though the problems that passed him by. he says: "poetry was like the lightning rod to all my problems cause all the problems that tried to stike him down just got into a poetry page." he has written over 200 poems in his life time, but his main note book which held most of is poems was lost on a ride and so he had no record of poems left but that didnt stop him either. he said "everything happends for a reason if i lost my poetry book that means its time to work harder." and he has written some of his best poems till this day. he has been in competitions, open mic slams, and even hosted his own poetry events. he says the people he looked up to in the poetry world is j.ivy, shihan, gemineye, black ice and etc. he considers poetry his mother in this world and his father is god and he thanks god for everything he says "without god i wouldnt be anything at all because god has belssed me with everything" hes a member of 23rd and pacific good success cristian fellowship in long beach, callifonia. he said though poetry gave birth to modeling and song writeing. becasue for modeling a picture tells a thousand words and brings him sooo much excitement he says "my goal in modeling is to pay the way for a group of others that don’t think they can make it because of there height. I want to show them that it’s possible as long as once a day your heart beat will beat the excitement of modeling. Everyone can take pictures, but only a model can add 1000 words to the equation and make a picture bring out emotions that you thought couldn’t be expressed. But as for me, what I want to do is take pictures that say 1 million words. Simply you can describe me as a perfectionist, I want my work to be the best without flaws. It’s a long road to that point but the best time to start is right now. Sorry, I won’t take ANY NUDE PICS!!! Meaning my bottom half stays covered . I don’t want to take pics that is promoting something I’m against, not knocking what other models are doing, it's just not for me. What I’m realizing, its time for me to climb to the top. I’m just sick and tired of being stuck in between cement walls that are blocking me to envision my dream inside reality. I’m tired of being blocked in between cement walls that is blocking me from what I see my future to be, the only cement I’m going to see as of now is stairs which I walk upon to get to the top.....so remember these famous words that say LETS SHOOOT!!!"... and for song writing he says" song writing is just a form of poetry but you with a melody that backs you up and helps display the emotion that you trying to unleash. but instead when you singing the message can get stuck inside people head easier. causeits more rhythem. its like poetry is the teacher but music can change your spirit. poetry for the mind music for the soul." then he also says " its funny cause when i start doing those things it felt like something on the inside wanted to come out but i wasnt knowing it like when a female get pregnent with no thought that she is thats how i felt. so once i started doing modeling poetry and writeing songs i had twins as you can say. there names was acting and playwriting." then He goes on and says that: "play writing is an unleashment of everything he do coming together because everything he do. its like every single talent is being thrown into playwriteing including acting" "you know when i first saw tyler perry plays i was like i didnt know a play can be like that i though it had to be simular to shakespear or opra so everysince then i was like o i can do that and nnow im doing it so i say tyler perry has inspired me to write play and yes later on i want to move on to inspirational movies and no im not trying to be the next tyler perry im trying to be me:) "I am not perfect but i strive to perfection with ambition and god there is nothing that can stop me from walking to the top.
