2Hurt è un duo, costituito da Paolo Bertozzi (già chitarrista nei leggendari Fasten Belt ed altre formazioni punk) e dalla violinista Laura Senatore. Questo primo album è un tributo alla ‘border music’è una collezione di suono desertico, in cui tutti gli strumenti sono utilizzati in senso minimalistico e dove la voce profonda di Paolo dichiara il suo amore per gente come Mark Lanegan o Tom Waits.Musicalmente, l'album ha un suono cinematografico. La pista di apertura ricorda il RyCooder di Paris Texas di Wenders. Tutti gli strumenti sono suonati da Paolo Bertozzi, oltre al violino di Laura Senatore perfettamente inserito nel tessuto sonoro donando un tocco di tenerezza e melanconia al suono.Questo album è un grande debutto, nella sua relativa semplicità è un tributo genuino alla musica di confine.

This debut album is a tribute to what we used to call “border musicâ€. The record is a collection of desertic sound, where all instruments are used in a kind of minimalistic way, and where the deep voice of Paolo declares his love for people like Mark Lanegan or Tom Waits. Musically, the album is truly cinematic. Listen to the opening track the first comparation could be with Ry Cooder score for Wenders movie Paris Texas. All instruments are played by Paolo Bertozzi, apart from the Laura’s violin which is the perfect instruments to make this songs a bit tender and full of sweet melancholy. This album is a great debut, in its simplicity and genuine tribute to the sound that comes across the border.
