About Me

TRE ''Take Your Time'' (Mo Thugs/Relativity) Not since En Vogue's a capella intro to ''Hold On'' has a group of sisters with voices created such a breathtaking sound. The inaugural act on Bone Thugs-N-Harmony's upstart label pour their mostly in-unison vocals over a slab of slinky low-rider funk and reinforce their let's-wait-awhile message by drawling with soulful finesse. These ladies weren't just born to sing -- they sound like they live for it. A -(1997) Entertainment Weekly- Jeremy HelligarMyspace Graphics

Myspace Contact Tables Remember when lyrics were deep and the pain of a songs author could be physically felt in the wail of a passionate vocalist? When music was unadulterated? Well, we do too. We are born from a pure love of all things musical. Individually we are Kimberly Cromartie, Rebecca Forsha and Maniko Williams. Collectively we are known as the female vocal trio, Tre’. We met in high school in the early 90’s and found ourselves drawn together by a common love for sound and harmonic vocals. This paired with admiration for all genres of art; we formed our group (then 3 ½) and swiftly fell for the potent acoustics we generated. We joined with Kermit Henderson’s management family where we met B.O.N.E Enterpri$e, the group now known as Bone Thugs in Harmony (BTNH). We performed all around the NE Ohio area, won several talent awards and were nominated for an Urban Music Award. When BTNH chose to follow a lead they had in Los Angeles, they pledged to send for us once their business was secured. True to their word we were featured on the “First Of Tha Month” remix, a single off of their national debut album. We were then privileged to appear on “Tha Crossroads” remix doing our signature version of “Mary don’t you weep”, which we performed live on the MTV Music Awards in ’96. We signed with Mo Thug/Relativity Records and participated in the first Mo Thug Family album, “Family Scriptures”. This record was riddled with Tre’ contributions including two group tracks, “Here With Me” and “Take Your Time”. We also performed the hook on the debut single “Thug Devotion”. Niko sang solo on the “Ghetto Blues” track with II Tru. The “Take your Time” single was the second song and video released off of this album. This collaboration quickly went platinum. Niko did another appearance on Krayzie’s first solo album, performing on “Street People”. Around this time, the universe led all of us in different directions. We chose to focus on our families and nurture our souls for an occasion. “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the world and lose his own soul?”(Matthew 16:26). Tre’ needed to be on one accord. We didn’t want to make music under duress. Music is a spiritual and sacred endeavor. We needed it to surge naturally. You know, real. That’s how we flow. That feeling has returned to us and we are ready to share ourselves with those of you who appreciate our sound. Even those who do not will find something to relate to. Thanks for being so patient with us. We will do our best not to disappoint. Stay tuned. Tre’
