I'm interested in the Japanese culture--though I hate people who are way obsessed with J-rock/J-pop/anime/Japan in general/etc. FYI, I'm a very pessimistic person. o_o; Though I've TRIED to be optimistic...
Uh.. I love my family and friends. They're the world to me. If you fuck with them or speak down to them, I keel j00. D=
I love music and writing, and I hope to one day become a novelist/journalist. I'm not very into politics, but I guess I get really into Global Warming debates and such. I think it's stupid how we're worrying about oil when we should be worrying about saving the entire goddamn human race, as well as other animals and nature.
Some of my favorite music is Dir en grey, Thoroughblend, Nami Tamaki, Arashi, Matisyahu, older Sum 41 music, Lady Sovereign, etc...
I am a yaoi/shounen-ai nerd. I love softcore AND hardcore, i.e. Gravitation (and Gravi EX! ♥), Selfish Love, Yellow, Gakuen Heaven, Silver Chaos, Gorgeous Carat, etc. Some of my other favorite manga is Death Note, Yu Yu Hakusho, Descendents of Darkness, Never Give Up, etc.
I'm also a bookworm. Lately I've been reading a lot more than I ever have in my life, lol. I love fantasy/SF novels, like The Fall of Ile-Rien series by Martha Wells, The Two Princesses of Bamarre, and Harry Potter.
My very first anime was Sailor Moon. NO, I DON'T THINK THEY'RE ALL LESBIANS! lmao. Sure, it seems like it, but I've loved Sailor Moon since I was a little kid, and I think that fan-hentai crap is disgusting. I also watch YYH more than I read it, lol. Shounen Onmyouji is a DEFINITE favorite right now. Love it. GurenxMasahiro FTW
I think my three favorite video games are Okami (beat it twice, it's a great game), Spyro, and Tekken. I've recently been completely obsessed with Okami--the game, the music, everything. It's just a beautiful story and I love the concept of it. ^^;
Random things I like are... Coca Cola, pirates (Jack Sparrow FTW! XD), Starbucks and coffee in general, penguins, and I USED TO like WWF. When it was still WWF. lol.
Let's see... In the summer of '06, I traveled to Japan for an exchange program. While I was there, I visited Osaka Castle, Kyoto (kinkakuji temple), and saw the movie Death Note. I also did a lot of shopping and attended Senri Senior High School. Great place, but I think I'd rather visit often than actually live there.
