mahealani [muh/hay/uh/law/nee] means "the fullest blossoming of the moon," and it was given to me in a dream, when i was living on the island of maui in 2000. (okay, so, in the dream, i was looking for some of my clothes in my sister's closet, and i pulled out this shirt, and it had my birth name and "mahealani" on the front of the shirt. i woke up the next morning with the name in my mouth) i came to find out that traditionally Hawaiian names are given through dreams. on the Hawaiian lunar calendar, mahealani is the name of the full moon)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) )))))))))
