Windgels

Windgels was born in Argentina in 2004, when we wanted to express ideas and songs that up to that moment were in rough draft. After an intense search and several members that were and came at last we hit upon the adequate musicians for the project. The idea was to form a metal band without losing the musical melody. The band style is oriented towards hard rock, however, in the tracklist you can find some AOR songs, some mid tempos as well as slow ones, but one thing is for sure and it's that you will listen melodies and hooky songs from the first track to the last one. The band's interest is that the songs remains in the listeners's minds because of their catchy vocal melodies but also because they have very good instrumental parts.
We want the listener to be identified with the lyrics, without resorting to social protest neither to the simple description of a state of mind. The idea is to produce a true feeling and at the same time to give a real hope of change.
It was sought to record a demo with quality that went the more nearby possible to a complete and finished album, with excellent sound and enough quantity of songs to show who we are.
In year 2007 "Between Dreams And Reality" saw the light with 12 tracks and a concept that represents the fight between our dreams and the obstacles that life puts in the way. Right now the demo is being sent to different labels around the world.
