About Me

Zombie Death Stench plays reanimated death metal mixed with underpinnings of old school Black metal. Mixed within and between their aural assaults are cold analog sounds that are evocative of horror movies and Sci-Fi of the late 70's and 80's. Their lyrics are laden with references to horror movies and the darker sides of occultism. Nothing is Sacred to them. . . Only the Undead! We formed in roughly 2004 and have continued to work on crafting our sound that keeps our roots deep in the old school style of Florida Death Metal. Zombie Death Stench is what we like to call Reanimated Death Metal. Imagine old school Obituary and Morbid Angel crossed with Emperor and Dark Throne and you will be on the right track. Then mix in a heavy dose of classic Zombie films and Sci-Fi soundtracks and you will arrive at ZDS. . .
