Anonymoi Episkeptes

Anonymoi Episkeptes were formed as a rock band by Ilias Milonas back in 1998. After changing many members, in 2000 the band found it's original lineup which was: Ilias Milonas (Vocals & Guitars), Giannis Ioannidis (Bass) and Michalis Apostolidis (Drums). This "gang" started playing gigs in their hometown, Thessaloniki, but mostly outside of it. After 3 continuous years of playing live the band decided to record a demo cd. That happened in November 2003 and the demo contained 8 songs (7 + 1 hidden track). 4 songs were written by the band and the rest were covers of some beloved (by them) rock bands. Rock 'n' Roll sto krevati (Pavlos Sidiropoulos) 5. I siopi mou pros apantisi sas (Anonymoi Episkeptes) 6. Paranoid (Black Sabbath) 7. Dystyxws zoume akoma (Anonymoi Episkeptes) 8. Asfaleia (Trypes - hidden track)Anonymoi Episkeptes released 1000 copies of this and they saw their demo "disappear" from their hands in about 2 weeks. Yes, it was a sold out (if we can use this term) Unfortunately, after gaining success, 2 of their members (Ilias & Giannis) had to join the army. Returning from army, the relationship between Giannis and the rest of the band was a little bit disturbed. After changing many bass players, the group split in 2006. Nowadays as we go through 2008, the founding member, Ilias Milonas is looking for musicians to form the band again...
