Gabriel Scar

Gabriel Scar’s real name is Gunther Huyghe. He lives in Willebroek (Belgium). He started his singing career in February 2004. Gabriel Scar was in the finals of a lot of different singing contests (like: Briljante Stem 2005 & 2006, Gouden Micro’s 2006, Briljante Gentse Stem 2005, etc.). With some good results in those finals too. Winner of "Soundmix Boontje 2007", in Asse. 2nd places in "Kirvin Goes Live 2008" (Mechelen) and "Mister Voice of The Crew 2006" (Tremelo). 3rd places in "Grandioze Soundmix 2004" (Diksmuide) and "Idool van de Hei 2006" (Berlaar). He also performed in a few pretty big festivals in Belgium, like Gentse Feesten, Geelse Kanaalfeesten, Donkfeesten (Lier) and Sterren Nacht 2007 (= Stars Night 2007, Antwerp Expo). The three songs he wrote, up until now, (that you can hear on this site) are "The Pain Of Life", "Lightning Love" and "Far Away". He’s still busy writing other songs. He also brings some very good covers, like "When The Lady Smiles - Golden Earring", "Stuck On You - Lionel Richie", "Gold - Spandau Ballet", "Take Me Home, Country Roads - John Denver", "Fairytale Gone Bad - Sunrise Avenue", "Kryptonite - 3 Doors Down", etc. Gabriel Scar is already inscribed with an important artist booking agency in Belgium, Palm 3. But he is still looking for good management and a record label that wants to sign him. Hopefully someone will see something in him and will want to work with him. In March 2008 he also joined the cover band Triple S, to become their lead singer.
