Golden Eagle hand-throws each piece, then lovingly fires it in a high-fire electric kiln. Tone can be manipulated by placing your hand inside the base. The Doumbek was originally a Celtic drum. Arriving in the Middle East after the time of Christ, it originated in Bohemia from the Celtic tribe called Boiis. The oldest ceramic doumbec artifacts are found in Bohemia dating back to 4000 BC.
