It's been 2 long years without our ska rock heroes, Cookiepuss, on the scene. Originally based out of Fort Wayne, the band's music reached far across the states and influenced many of today's local musicians. When they put a stop to the music in 2005 there has been a very visible gap in the hearts of every music lover that has been able to experience a cookiepuss show.Tony had moved to Murphysboro, Illinois in 2006 and the rest of the gang had moved on to other projects. While all the projects since then have been extremely great in quality we still miss the boys in all their ska goodness. So join us in pestering the living crap outta the members of this band to get together for another show or the long shot, bug tony into coming back and restarting the band. lol.Post your support for the band in the comments section! if you've got an awesome cookiepuss story that you want to share, sent it to us and we'll post it as a blog. The sole purpose of this page is to show off our support and let it be a tribute for a band that we all love.
UPDATE! As of June 13th, the puss got back together in paulding for the john paulding days event. Since Mike Thomas was busy with his other band, the B-movie Monsters that night his spot was filled in with ex-kulprits/ex-clampdown/current black cat mambo bassist, Keith Wiles and founding cookiepuss bassist, Andy Finnegan. Also, Jerome Schooley's newphew provided additional guitar.Days after the show, it was announced that cookiepuss would be reforming with new members. They even have a 6 week rotation at Columbia Street West in Fort Wayne.
