Better music through better management…SerpenThorn is one of the premier black/death technical metal bands in the state of Florida. The manager of SerpenThorn discovered one of the members at a gig while scouting for talent. He had been looking around to manage a band that had something that was above the rest, and after listening to Patricio, one of the guitar players, SerpenThorn’s manager knew that he had finally struck gold.SerpenThorn’s manager approached Patricio, and invited him and the rest of the band to play at his house. After they played a few songs, SerpenThorn’s manager knew that SerpenThorn was a different band. SerpenThorn’s manager and the band talked afterwards and decided to work together as one unit, not just as manager and artists. Since that meeting, they bonded and developed a relationship of trust where every career step they take is to take them to their ultimate goal, which is to be known internationally as one of the premier black/death metal bands.SerpenThorn and Beau Monde Music Management carefully plan their strategies in order to achieve every one of their goals, from the carefully selected notes in their songs to the planning of their concerts. Everything they do together has a meaningful purpose.The musicians met several years ago while going to school at Miami Beach High School, and have been playing together for several years. Now that they are out of high school, Nicolas, 22, Patricio, 21, Roy, 21, and Nawel, 20, have formed a musical foundation that is the basis for the next generation of the new metal movement.Nicolas Rupp was born in Argentina, and graduated from Miami Beach High School in 2004. He started to play guitar at the age of 14, and is now one of the most accomplished guitarists in the Miami area. Patricio Posse was born in Argentina, and graduated from Miami Beach High School in 2005. He started to play guitar at the age of 13, and along with Nicolas, is also an accomplished guitarist with a unique style that rivals most guitarists. Roy Jurado was born in Peru, and graduated from Miami Beach High School in 2005. He started to play drums at the age of 14, and he is one of the few drummers that can play the black/death metal style in Miami, and is probably one of the best progressive drummers. Roy is also an accomplished recording engineer. Nawel Castillo was born in Argentina, and graduated from Miami Beach High School in 2006. Nawel is an accomplished guitarist, and has been playing since he was 14, but he converted into a bassist when SerpenThorn couldn’t find a bassist to play for them.Nicolas, Patricio, Roy, and Nawel constantly challenge each other to play and compose complex melodies and rhythms that are different than the music in their genre. This makes them unique in a level no other band will be able to achieve. Their style and dedication will make SerpenThorn a band to model after.
