If you had asked him a year before it began, he would have told you, “Do video? What for?â€
Epiphanous has found himself in the VJ community by the purest of accidents.
After spending a few years, mastering digital based audio production graphic design, and working with a few bands plus a solo project, found himself on Seattle Public Access TV, producing a successful 26-episode television season entirely on a home PC, without touching a camera once.
Finding that the methods to make the show’s “host†work like a animated digital puppet was very much like the ways he made music, also found that they could create stunning visual effects as well, making the transition from audio to video producer fairly easy. Some DJ friends asked him to come out and do visual projections set to the music of the night. This caught the attention of a couple of local promoters and for the past 4 years, the musician has taken a backseat to the video artist. Who has shared the stage with local, (KJ Sawka, Beehive, Miss Solar System, Decibel Festival), as well as national and international music acts, (AmonTobin, BassNectar, Blake Lewis) and has been involved in a variety of events around the U.S and Canada.
Eager to combine the old musical experience with the new video skill Epiphanous has been in the lab working on creating a fully synchronized Audio/Visual experience to bring to the scene. Come bear witness to the fruits of a beautiful accident and be on the lookout for Epiphanous to come to a venue near you.
