Hello, we are "The Crown of Thorns Band." Our band has been together for about 4 years now. The group is made up of five "on fire! Believers of the Lord." Our lead singer is Dalton Pendergrass, who also plays rhythm guitar. Our lead guitar & one of the backup vocals is Heath Martindale. On the drums is Jason Fisk. About a year ago we recruited 2 more Awesome men of God to spread the "good news" which includes Mac Tweedle on the Bass, and Butch Plemons on the steel guitar. We all have powerful, and awesome testimonies.Our mission is to reach the lost and dying world through music, song, and testimony. From a recovered drug addict to a kidney transplanted believer. God is Awesome! and we would like the opportunity to share these testimonies through song. "Don't take Jesus Away", "Could Be You, Could Be Me", and "Wash'em Away" are just a few to mention.Our group had the opportunity to open for "Everyday Sunday", and we have played and numerous churches, Centennials, Relay for Life, rodeos, and was the "headliner band" for Battle of the Bands hosted in Irving Texas.Our prayer is that God will broaden our territory in making it possible to reach out for Him.1 Chron 4:10 Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, 'Oh that Thou would bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast [territory], and that Thine hand might be with me, and that Thou would keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me!'
