THE ANGLO FORM

About Me

‘Scream as these were your last words, revel in the glory and capture this terrain because there is deceit on your stages, emulation of the courageous and degradation of brilliance. The Anglo Form is anything you want it to be. It’s watching the sun set. It’s running in the fields. It’s getting your heartbroken. It’s staring into the abyss. It’s saying fuck it and leaving it all behind. It’s the first the last and everything in between if you want it to be. Sing, lose control, escape. They bare their souls to line after line of bodies and strange faces to within an inch of their lives perform. The intensity, acidic vitriol spat from ‘Archiketure’ strikes fear and grabs ears with its apocalyptic cries from worlds of unbridled addiction and despair. ‘Silo’ is an angular, hypnotic letter to the past from a future of self-destruction. The release is infectious. Yes we’re fucked up. From the rooftops we sang. Protest, preach smash it down and set it on fire. Feel the blood coarse through your veins, this day we felt most alive. ‘Revolt in Paris’ is glorious, hopeful. ‘Anglophilia’ is again rebellious its anti-royalist sentiments igniting guts and catching the eyes of change. It seems a new faction is forming. Mount the pedestal, rise from the gallows be the voice of a generation. We shall now be heard. Will you conform?’

PRESS
‘By far and away the best demo this month comes from The Anglo Form. A band which sounds like all the best parts of the Prodigy, The Sex Pistols and The Chemical Brothers, they play like a new band should. Frantic guitar work and electro drums add to gothic vocals to make a post-punk electro stew. While getting a touch repetitive a times, you can imagine hearing this in a club and going into utter meltdown. It might sound strange, but it’s very different from the usual drivel that the North East spills from its grubby practice rooms.’ – Narc. Magazine, Demo of the Month (Silo/Archiketure)
