In the 1970's Hip Hop was born. Since it's inception we have watched it grow and reach unimaginable heights. Hip Hop is now an international phenomenon. Billions of dollars are generated with this genre of music. We have watched from the old school days, where Hip Hop was a baby in a Brooklyn borough, to the point where it became a teenager and went out west to Gang-Bang. Then after a Bi-Coastal War it grew up and settled in the South. Atlanta held the throne and to some extent still does. Texas even got in on the action and took Hip Hop to newer heights. But between the New Yorks, Cali's, Texas, Atlanta, St. Louis, Philly and a host of other regions that truly got the chance to shine, Oklahoma was overlooked. Until Now. If you have watched the Oklahoma Scene, in the last two and a half years, something different is buzzing. A new sense of power, a new confidence. The Music scene is Alive and hungry contenders continue to fight for the top spot. According to one of Oklahoma's Elite Artist "Flyboy", that is exactly what is holding us back from the Ultimate goal. "We all obtain our individual Success but it never helps the team (Oklahoma) as a whole." he says. That is exactly the premise of this New SUPER GROUP "O'd UP". Flyboy's Vision was to put together a unit that would score success for the state as a whole. All the core members are representatives of different parts of Oklahoma. They all have their own unique fanbases. So in Essence a DreamTeam has been formed. Flyboy started "O'd UP" for one reason and one reason only. TAKEOVER. It's time Oklahoma got the shine it deserves. And if it's up to Flyboy, They will get it. "There are alot of hardworking, deserving artist in the Oklahoma Music scene that need recognition for their efforts, and that won't happen if somebody doesn't kick the door down. My goal is to Kick the door down as a collective." said Flyboy. And don't get it twisted this collective doesn't discriminate. It is based on Oklahoma but the Music will feature production from out of state talent as well. We have out of town Producers, DJ's etc.. So it's definitely not an Us against the world type thing. It's more of a Here we are and look what we can do situation. And once you look. You're hooked.
